Fees & Policies
In Alberta fees for therapeutic services are often covered through extended health care plans. Please check with your service provider to see if they cover the fees of a registered Homeopathy or for testing services such as Saliva hormone, Thermography or IgG Food Sensitivity. If they do, it may be worthwhile finding out what the coverage is. For example what percentage is covered and for how many sessions per year.
If extended benefits don’t offer the coverage, it may be possible to claim your treatment as a portion of your health spending account. You will be provided an itemised invoice for each visit, and a complete receipt at the end of treatment.
Consultation and testing times can be adjusted up to 24 hours prior to the appointment time.
Our clinics accept all Canadian-issued credit cards with a Visa or MasterCard logo. Personal Checks can be used to book appointments, but the appointments will only be confirmed following checks clearing the banking system.
Google Hangout and Telephone interventions are also available on request. Initial assessment appointments will not be offered using these methods. Telephone; Many clinicians refuse to connect with patients by telephone. Consultations with Dr Thomas can be performed over the telephone at prearranged appointment times for patients that travel for work, or find it hard to attend the office for a face to face appointment, this is doubly effective due to safety issues pertaining to travel during bad weather in the winter that often precludes patients from travelling safely. Telephone appointments are charged at the regular rate. Dr Thomas will not take ‘cold’ calls. Appointments can be booked directly through the office at 780.455.6123
Cancellations and Missed Appointments:
There is a policy regarding cancellations and missed appointments that Dr Thomas believes to be fair to the patient, the imaging technicians and other clients needing appointments. As the appointment is reserved and booked in advance with exclusivity, the client will be charged the established hourly fee for appointments that they fail to show for. For instances where the client provides 48 hours notice of not being able to attend an appointment no charges will be made, another appointment will be made. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hour notice will be charged at the established rate.
*There are no exceptions for less than 24 hour no shows*
