After a 25 year oilfield career in the engineering field of computer drafting, I decided to change things up. I have always been interested in alternative medicines, and the medical field. With a gentle push by my children, all in various medical fields themselves, I found myself going back to school. Shortly after graduation I started working with Dr. Thomas, and Danielle as an office administrator, and I have recently completed thermography training under Dr. Alex Mostovoy. I believe thermography assessment is a very useful tool for monitoring your health, and can be used at any age. I have seen the impact this screening has had on many patients in the office. I look forward to expanding my knowledge in the health and well being of our patients, and for ways that I can be proactive with my own health.
Hailing from the East Coast of Canada, Kati’s interest in hands-on manual therapy originally led her to study the art of massage in New Brunswick. From there, an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and functional, whole-body strategies pushed her to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, and finally into her current study of Manual Osteopathy. Using this unique education and her natural talent, Kati pulls from several toolboxes, working on the body as an entire unit, to help the client achieve their physical goals. She is trained in therapeutic, deep tissue and sport massage, advanced fascial work, and advanced remedial exercises, and builds her treatments on a foundation of functional assessment and whole-body focused osteopathic techniques to help understand and fully correct the issues her clients are facing.
